Representation that works for you
As your buyer’s agent, I can help you search for homes, research properties, prepare and negotiate an offer, navigate inspections and repairs, and stay on track through closing.
A simple guide for NC homebuyers
Before we tour homes, we’ll talk through how representation works, what you can expect from me, and how agent compensation may be handled—so you can begin your search feeling informed and comfortable.
What to expect
Before touring a home with a real estate agent, buyers are generally asked to enter into a written buyer agency agreement. The agreement explains whom the agent represents, the services being provided, how long the agreement lasts, and how the agent may be compensated.
As your buyer’s agent, I can help you search for homes, research properties, prepare and negotiate an offer, navigate inspections and repairs, and stay on track through closing.
We’ll review the agreement together and discuss its scope and duration. It may cover a particular property, a short period, or a longer home search depending on what makes sense for you.
Agent compensation is negotiable. A seller may agree to pay some or all of a buyer agent’s compensation, but that is not guaranteed. I’ll explain the available options and any potential financial responsibility before you move forward.
